Would you buy these Dota 2 nano plushie USB Stick Heroes?
The Dota 2 microplushies were nice, but someone thought they could be more practical. Behold, the USB stick heroes nano plushies! Now before you start throwing money at the monitor, this is still an idea sitting in the Dota 2 Community Workshop so if you want Valve to turn into reality, vote for it here. Here’s what the designs could look like:
img
Each nano plushie is about one-third the size of the Dota 2 microplushies, and comes with a 64GB to 128GB USB stick “filled with goods”. There’s no way you can get t-shirts from in there, so we’re assuming there will be wallpapers, videos, music, and other digital goodies inside instead. The nanoplushie will also come with a digital unlock for the game.
(See: Valve removes Dota 2 treasure keys for a “keyless economy”)
The nano plushies are made out of plush, so they can be squashed to fit into tight spaces. Now I don’t know about you, but I usually don’t use these collectible things because I’m protecting them from a wide array of threats, ranging from dirt to thieves. So personally, I find the large storage space to be a bit of a waste. It’s better than the plushie getting damaged or worse, lost, though. Besides, I don’t think I like seeing the idea of Windranger’s (possibly distorted) upper half sticking out of my laptop.
The image on its Steam Community Workshop page shows the designs from The International 2013 (TI3), but that’s not to say we can’t have the designs from The International 2014 (TI4). Which heroes would you like to see?
